Adobo is Filipinos' national recipe that’s why in every household has different way of cooking it. It composed of meat, vinegar, soy sauce. It is perfect in rice because this is salty and somewhat sour. It is not easy to spoil and more delicious while it last. A perfect meal for the busy week, you just need to keep it in your fridge and heat it up or you can make Adobo rice.
Today, I am going to show you my version of Pork adobo and hopefully I would teach you how to
make adobo rice!
Ingredients:
- Pork
- Garlic
- Onions
- Bay leaves
- Pepper
- Salt
- Fish sauce
- Tomato
- Vinegar
- Water
Marinate pork in soy sauce,
vinegar, onions, garlic, bay leaves, pepper, add calamansi other seasonings of
your choice in a saucepan. Bring to a
boil, lower heat to medium fire and then cook until a thick oily sauce is
formed.Set aside
Sauté
garlic, onion, tomato add fish sauce then drop the marinated pork
Add
water; let it simmer for few minutes.
Add
sweet potato.
Continue
sauteing until liquid has evaporated and sweet potato becomes cook.
Serve with steamy hot rice.
